Foals 2012

This year we had 3 absolutely gorgeous stud colts born on Vaquera Ranch and got a filly and her mum later on in the year. All colts have correct conformation, are easy to handle, very fast learners, and of course they are well bred with very nice pedigrees. These foals are bred to perform for cow work, reining, or barrels.

Buying a Weanling from Vaquera Ranch

Foals will all be up for sale after weaning in September 2012. At this time, they will have been handled regularly by us and our 7 kids aged 3 to 16. They will be halter broke, lead, stand for farrier, bathe, load, and yield to pressure (yield hind and fore quarters, back up, move forward). All our foals are taught from day one to respect our space, and have good manners when handled. We are always gentle when we handle and teach our foals, we don’t cowboy any of our horses, but we do expect them to be respectful partners. Prices range between $2,500 and $4,000, a non refundable deposit paid now will hold them for you until weaning. Please contact us with any questions.
